The misconception of a full-stack engineer.
Speaking of which, I personally handle everything from design, front-end, back-end, database, etc. I should be able to wear the hat of a full-stack engineer.
Actually, to be honest, I have never liked this hat, or rather, I don't like hats in general, especially the title of a full-stack engineer.
Labels, hats, they are all thresholds, and also tombstones. If we have to categorize things like this, it becomes uninteresting.
A mature engineer should have knowledge in different fields. The genius of engineering lies in how to implement an idea using different technologies.

Interestingly, the first version I developed was very messy, a disaster in terms of engineering. I think one reason is that I wore the hat of a full-stack engineer.
Wearing this hat, for example, when writing front-end pages, I directly started coding without designing or slicing. The same goes for database tables, I would change the fields on the spot. As a result, it became more and more chaotic later on, the full-stack aspect was not achieved, and various problems arose during subsequent development, often requiring a restart.
In fact, even if a person has many skills, when it comes to actually doing something, they can only
Wear one hat at a time.
For example, when writing front-end pages, when you wear the hat of a designer, you can only focus on the rationality of UI, UE, and other design aspects. If you try to wear two hats at the same time, it will be a clash of thoughts.
Similarly, when wearing the hat of operations management, don't think about development matters, but rather determine how to manage a community, establish rules. Don't think about the difficulty of development.
Similarly, when wearing the hat of an engineer, consider how to achieve better performance and reduce the workload.
The hat is held in one's own hands.
I heard an actor say that anyone can play any role as long as they have enough time to immerse themselves in that role. When the wind is high and the waves are rough, we may be flustered. For me, the more important point is that the hat is held in one's own hands, the role is chosen by oneself, whether it is performed well or not is another matter. Don't forget to take off the hat on your head and think about the hat in your hands.
